My only real talent is writing. I have to work hard at everything else, and unfortunately I'm lazy.

My goals for a "good" photograph are unity of form and unity of color. I've only had one year of photography class, and I'm a little sloppy in the darkroom and in scanning. My hands aren't as steady as they could be, either, so I sometimes ruin the focus.

I use an Olympus OM-10 camera with a manual adapter. I sometimes use close-up filters with varying success. I'd like to invest in a proper macro lens, but alas I make $6/hour and my savings are dwindling.
