What it is is what I might otherwise forget. Or something driving, motiviting, energizing that maybe would explode if it were not there, unmoving.

Except for the occasional oddity, I don't crop. Mostly everything is full-frame, which I think is important. The passion in photography starts the moment I release the shutter and carries through to the end of the processing cycle, whether that be in the darkroom, the computer, or the bedroom.

I'm from Kansas.

My biggest influences are Merlin Bronques, William Eggleston, Stephen Shore, and Henri Cartier-Bresson. I also love the work of Todd Hido, Larry Sultan, and Marc F. Wise who put out an amazing book called Truck Stop.
