Set up in 2005 by Eleanor-Jayne Browne, The D/sign Lounge is a lab with a difference: we interpret the word ‘research’ in its broadest sense and consider it to be a set of activities that seeks to break the boundaries of current thinking – from both a theoretical and applied angle. We are the point where design, research and nature intersect.

Firmly rooted in design and design education, our activities are wide-ranging with core specialties such as branding, brand identity, pure graphic design, printmaking and textiles.
