Hello everyone and welcome to my Flickr profile.
First... a little about me and why I started using flickr.
WHO:
I am a 38yr old male who was once a successful photographer with darkroom and some studio experience, but gave it all up to get married.
Big mistake, NEVER give up on a dream!
I am also a Biker, Doorman and Bouncer, "Get the job done" kind of guy.
WHAT:
I am a very analytical and visual person who is an avid art (photography) lover and collector.
WHEN / WHERE:
For the last 9yrs I have resided in Jacksonville Fla working in a little neighborhood nightclub / bar.
WHY:
Having never given up totally on photography, and loving to interact with new people, I picked up a cannon powershot A510
(The least expensive digital I could find that still gave me some control) and started taking pictures of the people I meet each night at the club where I work.
HOW:
Many of the people I have photographed at the club wanted copies of the pictures.
So after one of them told me about "Flickr" and I checked it out, I knew this was the place for me.
