The Back Porch Players was founded 8 years ago when Daniel J. Gordon, Matt Hune, Morgan Rosse, and a small group of friends, all graduating seniors from Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, banded together to explore modern political and social issues through theatre. The Back Porch Players is a federally and state recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
