The performing arts of ISD 191 are recognized for its dedication to excellence and its goal to EDUCATE students, ENTERTAIN its communities and INSPIRE those to work for and achieve greatness.

The Second Stage Theatre Company is a mentoring program aimed at expanding the experience and knowledge of theatre members aimed at academic growth in the performing arts. Performers, musicians and technicians are drawn from throughout the Twin Cities to share a professional stage along side ISD 191 students and alumni. Productions typically take place during summer months with performances occuring on the mainstage of the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. The Burnsville High School Theatre Guild is an afterschool program dedicated to teaching high school students skills in the performing arts - both on and off the stage. The 100+ member company manages all areas of the organization, from stage acting, to directing, costuming, business management, set construction, fundraising and publicity. It produces between 4-6 shows each year and makes each one an unforgettable and delightfully unexpected experience. Envision Academy of the Arts is a performing arts magnet school serving grades 9-12 within the ISD 191 school district. Students are drawn from throughout the Twin Cities metro to receive a high school education with focus on one of three core areas - theater, music and dance. Performances occur during the standard school year, with shows occuring at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center or, on occassion, the BHS Mraz Center.
