Activities


The Athens Centre has been a focal point for academic and cultural activities in Greece organizing study/travel programs with participating colleges and universities in the United States and Canada and Europe that emphasize classical, Byzantine, and modern Greek studies.

Greek Language program


The Centre also offers instruction in Modern Greek on a year-round basis to adults of all nationalities.

The Athens Centre cultural programs include summer workshops in poetry and art, guest lectures, musical events and presentations and theatre productions.

The Centre cooperates with the Greek Ministry of Culture, The Fulbright Foundation in Greece, the cultural sections of various embassies, the European Union, and other educational and cultural organizations in Greece and overseas.
