I'm a multi media artist, peace activist and workshop leader. I consider myself an intuitive artist. I'm also called an "outsider artist " and "visionary artist^ by others...mostly because I'm self taught and some of my work is out of this world!
I love collaborative art best. I teach/ lead a workshop called "CANVAS DANCE" (tm) where I bring people together to make art. It is such a fun experience for everyone involved...we share canvas and conversation! It is always a surprise what comes out in the paintings...I just love working with all kinds of people!
It is my biggest wish to take CANVAS DANCE (tm) on the road, getting all kinds of people making art together! I'm hoping to make a documentary, traveling across country. I am presently seeking grants, sponsorship and funding to make this happen. The documentary is called "Message ~ We're All Writing This Story". Canvas Dance is a great metaphor for life because the canvas changes constantly, before your eyes & what one person does...changes the whole picture! Each persons voice matters & effects the whole. It is really quite amazing!
My work comes from my life. Art is my life. Life is my art.
Everything I create has a personal story behind it.
