A melanistic lagomorph if you prefer.
Up to you.
Please feel free to comment on any of my photographs - whether in a complimentary or a constructively critical fashion.
But please do not invite me to any groups or mention "bokeh" on any photo, a term I regard as quite unnecessary.
I will endeavour to visit your photostreams and comment on your photographs too, as I feel I have an awful lot to learn from many, many wonderful photographers on flickr, and will enjoy myself doing just that!
But for now ...if you'll excuse me...
I'm a bit busy with this pile of carrots...

"I came across T B R on flickr by good luck. I enjoy macro, and Doug is a master of this subject. He also is very knowlegable and informative on the subjects, mainly spiders and insects. He has a great nose for a good picture, and has posted many excellent photos. Always willing to encourage others, his comments are always welcome, and some quite hillarious. His photostream is well worth a regular visit, you won't be disapointed. Keep it up Doug, I am glad to call you a friend. Steve."

" i first discovered the black rabbits photostream a few months ago,and quickly became a daily visitor to his photostream. The reasons for my daily visits are clear: Amazing photography presented in a unique style by a very very talented photographer.
The photography of the black rabbit is simply stunning. It's quite clear from his photographs, that the black rabbit has an amazing knowledge and understanding of the world around him. His macro photography is as exciting and beautiful as it is educational, showing us the world the black rabbit inhabits is one of tremendouis excitment, passion and colour. Whenever I look at his photography I leave feeling greatly inspired. I would highly recommend bookmarking his photostream, and strolling through his photographs. To see the world around us illustrated with such knowledge, skill and passion is rare and inspiring."1st July, 2008

"I first started corresponding with TBR on another website, where he asked me for a bit of advice on buying a new camera. He actually ended up buying my old digital camera setup, which was his first foray into digital photography (his previous pics being mainly taken with a camera phone - which incidentally were pretty impressive given the equipment he was using, and even then it was obvious he had a very keen eye for a good shot).
Considering TBR has only had my old camera a matter of months, I`m continually staggered by the quality of images he posts on a daily basis. Not only has he learnt the technical side of things very quickly, he has also produced images that are equal to any i`ve seen with the same equipment, not just for technical quality, but also images which are artistically and aesthetically superb.
Having an eye for a good photograph, and the vision to come up with novel concepts is a gift many of us wish we had.TBR has these qualities in abundance, although he`s way too modest to agree i`m sure.
Not only is he putting my old gear to (very) good use, he is also a very good mate, and I hope one day we`ll be able to meet up and shoot a few pics together somewhere.
Keep up the excellent work mate, your images are a pleasure to look at....."11th March, 2008
