The audio tape dies. Every given day it wastes away, steadily hobbling towards the cemetery of long forgotten recording media. There it will search its appropriate place for eternal sleep. Perhaps next to the DAT, or its long-term companion, the great VHS tape.

The White Tape Project salutes and pay one’s last respect to the audio tape by using it as a canvas – a visual basis where brilliant art from brilliant artists can make its way to the hearts of all those retro-chic-driven Nerds out there.

The audio tape dies, perhaps it is better that way. True immortality can only be achieved by this means...

[This is a non-commercial project and honors works from great creatives as well as the aesthetic form of the audio tape.
Please don't ask about buying or exhibiting the tapes, we are truly Fanboys and this is our hobby - nothing more, nothing less.

[Rewind UPDATE]
During the last few months we received a lot of requests like

"could you do me a tape coz I need one for my girlfriend"
or
"please be so kind and make me ten tapes showing the characters from Twilight".

Well, that's not the way it works...
but here is an instruction what could move us a little easier:

If you think that you have an illustration or artwork or anything else what you need to have on tape - mail us. Tell us about your design und then we'll see...

...and no more Twilight related requests please :D
