Thanks for visiting my Flickr Photostream..!

I am a born again believer pursuing left brained activity as a techie in the IT industry and right brained activity as a self-taught rookie photographer.

Photography and photos have always piqued my interest. But it was when I got my first P&S shoot camera in 2007, that I really got to take photos and ever since it has been a great learning curve; to the point of outgrowing my P&S and moving onto my first DSLR, the Rebel XSi in 2010. But the learning has only got more voracious and I don't know how much longer before I will outgrow the Rebel XSi! But having said so, a keen 'photographic eye' is more important than all the photo equipment in your camera bag!
Most of my current photography work revolves around nature, macro and a few creative still shots. Landscape, Portrait, Travel and Street photography interest me and as I keep learning, perhaps you will find more of them in my work.

P.S: I can sit and look at photographs all day long and never get bored. There is so much to learn by just looking at good photographs and their EXIFs.

Your feedback and suggestions help me improve. I would appreciate it if you could leave your feedback/ criticism/ suggestions on my photographs.

But when my photostream contains people I will be extremely sensitive. If any kind of disrespectful/ rude/ vulgar/ derogatory comment on the people in my photos is found, it will be deleted and I will put your account in block-list and report to Flickr/ Yahoo. Some of these people are family, friends, colleagues, students, people I know or even candid photos of strangers at public places. The idea is not to invade privacy but to capture the whole moment in terms of its artistic nature. Regardless I will expect the same respect for all these people. However, your comments and feedback based on the photographic and artistic merit will be much appreciated and is welcome. Thanks!
