I'm a writer and a photographer. I've also been involved with independent filmmaking, however my primary interest is in writing. Photography, for me, is an extension to that -- what I can't express through the written word, I'll express through pictures. And vice-versa.

I suppose you could say I'm an artist, although I'm a bit leery of using that term.

I don't particularly feel I'm creating "art", per se, but rather showing and telling stories that hopefully will affect people in the same way capturing and writing about them was for me.
