A few kilometers South of Patong stands the Thavorn Palm Beach Resort, spread across 25 acres and extending over half a kilometer along the white sandy beach of Karon, one of Phuket’s finest natural long beach’s offering spectacular sunsets. Phuket International Airport is 48 kilometers by road, Phuket Town is 20 kilometers and Patong Beach, where the Islands most popular night life exists is just 8 kilometers away. The resort boasts far-reaching, lush tropical gardens, picturesque Thai sculptures and low-rise buildings. The Palm Beach Resort offers 209 guest rooms that are furnished in Thai traditional style, containing custom teak fittings and furniture lending a relaxed and international resort ambiance throughout and at the same time being surrounded in spectacular blossoming gardens together with a wealth of lily ponds. The guest rooms are split between three buildings called the Blue Orchid, Bird of Paradise and Plumeria Wings and currently house Standard, Deluxe and Suite rooms.
