I was born in Thailand, Isan province, amphoe Phen, Ban Lao. I am adopted and was raised by my dutch parents. I live in the Netherlands. I work at a large bank at the publishing & design department. I studied Graphic Design at the Art Academy in Amsterdam (Gerrit Rietveld Academie). From when I was a little kid I drawed Knights and battles which I still like to do (www.jeroensikkema.nl). Besides Iaido I like race cycling and multiplayer text based game creating or playing (www.contractkillers.nl). I played a lot of chess and like all matters regarding strategy. I am a follower of my own spiritual path. I train at the dutch department of the Buken Research Group founded in Japan (www.buken.org). I trained for a few years wing chun kung fu and pentjak silat classical tjimande style as well. I love all martial arts and may the wisdom and joy I found in these arts be known to all I may encounter in life.
