My husband and I have a rather large hobby, taking pictures of Texas historical markers and their associated sites. We enjoy the travel and all the little towns we may not of otherwise gone too. Someone asked me the other day what the goal was , were we trying to take pictures of them all, and I thought about it and yes I guess that is the goal (all be it a long term nearly impossible goal, there are 14,000 Texas Historical Markers at the time I am writing this we have between 4000 and 5000 thousand.)
I am very interested in documenting as many as possible and have a particular interest in those on private property, in which case we have sent out many letters asking permission to take a picture.
So if you have any information about any that are on private property or that are missing , we'd be really happy to hear from you.
This flick page is a work in progress. I hope one day to have tags on everything , everything in the correct county but right now I work on it everyday.
