My photography...I have no formal training in photography, and I want to keep it that way because I feel that structure hinders my sense of creativity.

So why do I take pictures? Well, like many others, I often use pictures to create permanent memory markers. But that's not my art. My art...my photo-art.

My photo-art strives to throw you into a different state of consciousness than that in which you currently reside. Often, I will show you life through the eyes of a small animal. Sometimes I will throw you over the side of a tall building. Or I will try to show you the beauty I see in lights in the night, reflections, and my favorite places. Irony...beauty in the midst of despair...that's my favorite style.

So if you are looking for pictures of cute kids and animals, look elsewhere. My pictures are designed to make you feel or make you think, but most of all, confuse you.
