I am a photographer-in-the-making, studying when I can with my husband, Casey Lee who's talent I respect and admire deeply. I'm looking forward to the day that I might know HALF of what he does. Most of my pictures will be family related, but you never know. I was using a Canon G9, but Casey got me a 'Big Girl' camera for me for Christmas: the new Canon Rebel XSi, and I've been pretty trigger-happy ever since!

I'm also the publisher of a local magazine in my area: This That & The Other Magazine. It's a local magazine that focuses on art, local business and other good stuff. I have dubbed it a variety magazine, because it has something for just about everyone, and since it's a variety magazine, it has given me several avenues and subjects for my photography.

I've learned a lot already, from the magazine, my husband and the amazing collection of photographers and artists here on flickr. I look forward to learning even more.
