Hi, My name is Theresa. I am a passionate amateur photographer who loves the seaside and the outdoors. I live in a small seaside town on the Kapiti Coast region of New Zealand. I have recently left my job as a Chef to make some life changing decisions and at the moment, my son, Shaun, Partner ,Dennis and our 3 cats are the most important things in my life. I love taking photos and have recently mastered my Canon 1000 D SLR to take what I hope will prove to be good quality images. I would dearly love to meet others out there who, like me, have a passion for something other than a weekly paycheck!

I wish all my Flickr friends a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!

My partner and I moved to a beautiful new town called Waikanae early November. We love it here and I have taken many lovely photographs to show you it's beauty. I was looking for full time work as a Chef when we moved here, but alas! the job situation here is very dire! Rather than feel sorry for myself and spend all day moping, I have enrolled full- time at University to study Tourisim and Business. My course starts in January and I am very excited with my new adventure. I have met so many wonderful people here on Flickr and I wish to meet many more. I have recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix 950 which is proving to be an invaluable little piece of equipment. It takes amazing macro shots, does any one else have one?
