I live in Austin, Texas and have two grown daughters and 3 grandchildren. I've celebrated the anniversary of my 49th birthday more than once!

I use a Canon Rebel XSi and a Canon 50D. I use the Rebel a lot cause it's small, light and easier to carry around. Working to be more proficient with the 50D

I don't remember when I got my first camera...I've always had a camera of some kind. I do remember an instamatic that used flash cubes. I had a 35 mm film camera many years ago but was never as proficient with it as I wanted to be. When I moved into digital, I had to relearn a lot! Consider myself a serious amateur with a lot to learn.

I love traveling to cities in the US that I haven't visited before. If Southwest Airlines flies there, I want to visit!

My favorite food is TexMex. Give me a plate of cheese enchiladas and I'm a happy camper. Followed closely by CAKE.
