I live in Houston, Texas with my lovely wife, Rachel, and my two awesome step-kids, Max and Miles. .

I do technical support for a living for a major cell phone company, which is a good gig, since I like the company and haven't completely burned out on talking to people yet. Some days, however, it's like talking screaming stroke victims through disarming a live warheads two soiled spatulas and a rottweiler puppy. Or grandmothers through setting up their blackberry PDA's. Whatever.

I seem to have an unnatural fascination with cephalopods, and Cthulhu.

I've been teaching myself how to paint with watercolors for a while, but have largely given it up lately since I got a rudimentary drawing tablet and some not-so rudimentary digital painting software.

I try not to do traditional themes because most of what I've seen bores the living crap out of me. Whenever I sit down to paint, I usually do so with the foremost purpose in my mind as, "Ok, now I'm going to show you something really cool."

Other times I sit down and start doodling and come back to myself at five in the fucking morning with something on the paper or screen staring back at me.
