After spending too long thinking that I ought to get a good camera and start taking pictures, I got a good camera and started taking pictures. I'm recently armed with a Nikon D3000: my first DSLR, and a horrible little Polaroid camera that's taken most of my pictures up until now.

I've been inspired by a lot of what I've been seeing on Tumblr and other photography blogs on the Internet. I'm also interested in joining photography clubs and really learning how to get the most out of my camera.

Of course I want to take better pictures of my daughter as well. She has always been the real star of my camera lens.
