My flickr account has evolved over the years. I started it with the intention of posting artistic photos that I've taken. Later, I included historic photos from my family. at one point, I also had a collection of celebrity photos that I've acquired over the years, but since the acquisition of flickr by Yahoo that nearly got me deleted, so I removed them -- too bad -- they're great.
In the past two years, I've used flickr to document/diary my ordinary life -- at first I was bothered by the way it cluttered up my photostream with a bunch of snapshot quality photos -- Now, I'm OK with it -- I mean, if I want a gallery of my best work -- I'll make a set or create a different site for it. I've met some great people here -- the mix is interesting -- I photograph and collect erotic art so I have those friends -- I'm also the PTA mom who cooks and likes Mary Engelbreit -- so I have friends like that too -- and a host of other Art lovers and makers like myself --
My flickr experience has been a great evolution -- especially since I came off "unsafe" status


My daily photo diary projects have done a good job of recording my daily life but have turned my photostream into a scrapbooky looking thing -- I've made an attempt to use sets to categorize my collection better.
