I've appreciated photography all my life. Bought a Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH to take pictures at a wedding and... kinda got hooked. All my pictures WERE with this camera up until Mid-Feb, 2010, when I finally got my DSLR! I have basic photo software editing software that came with my Rebel. I was gifted a copy of PhotoShop at the end of May!
Started taking pictures of what was around me. Stumbled into macro. Went to sunsets. Then, started posting on Flickr. Since then, after seeing what everybody has put up... Wow! to all of you and thanks- your excellent shots have challenged me to experiment and try different things.
so... Now, it's more than a hobby and it's something I want to work on and develop. That said, you'll probably find just about everything here from a style or category point of view in one way or another... ;)
