I add little bits here and there every now and then.
Been in NT for 33 years. Have been married for 38 years (to same lovely woman). 2 kids and 3 grandkids. Retired Public Servant (26 years) just working part time now. People ask me if I've lived all my life in the NT. I say 'Not yet'

My interests are Travel/caravaning photography sailing fishing computing. I used to love camping and the bush. Nowdays I still love the bush but prefer the home comforts more now. (like our new Air conditioned caravan.)
Oh my screen name Austr07, I was up all night thinking of that one.
People say I am a sceptic but I don't believe them.
I also used to be so indecisive but now I'm not so sure.
I was down the beach the other day and saw two pretty girls laying on the beach. I asked them if they would mind if I took a photograph of them in the nude. They said that they would prefer it if I kept my clothes on.
(I borrowed that joke from my friend Ted)
My friend Scott put me onto a new powdered form of viagra that you put into your cup of tea. It doesn't enhance your sexual performance but it stops your biscuit going soft.
I have not posted any photos of myself because I consider myself to be not very photegenic. In fact when I was a kid my mum had to hang a pork chop around my neck just so the dog would play with me.
Best book I've read: Mathew Flinders Cat by Bryce Courtenay
Other books I would recomend are;
King of the Australian Coast by Marsden Hordern.
Mariners be Warned by Marsden Hordern
Mathew Flinders by Miriam Estensen
One of the best and most moving songs I've heard is 'Time To Say Goodbye' by Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli. If you have not heard it, get it and turn up volume to max. If you don't like it play it again even louder. Here is one link to the song www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbN0g8-zbdY&feature=related

Gee I almost forgot - I have a box Brownie 6-20 that my father gave to me. made in late 40's, still works. It took great pictures. I think I read somewhere that Eastman/Kodak made 50 million of these. They are now worth $6-$12 in good nik.

I’d rather have a bottle in front of me
than a frontal lobotomy.
