Sou a menina que admira o céu e toda a sua imensidão e que dorme nas nuvens de algodão. Sou a pequena. A gente grande, aquela a quem as mariquices não interessam, diz que a menina é castiça. Brava, lá contam. Alguns orgulham-se da menina arco-íris: de verde-esperança veste o Mundo e de amarelos sorrisos conforta almas. Os sonhos, esses, são a laranja e rosa, a lembrar o algodão doce.

I'm the girl who looks into the sky and who sleeps on the wool clouds. I'm the child. The big people, people to whom the small things are nothing, say that the child is happy. She's brave, they say. Some of them are proud of the rainbow-girl: she wears the World with green like hope and, with yellow smiles, she gives comfort to the weak souls. The dreams, those are orange and pink, like cotton candy.
