Based on Mark Jenkin's tape sculptures, we decided to translate his method to the streets of Tel-Aviv, and situated 'kids escaping rockets' and 'rocket to the heart' on Rotchild Blvd. in the center of town.
As expected, and as Jenkins told me when I asked him about putting tape sculptures in Israel, the kids didn't stay there for too long, the sculptures disappeared around noon (they were there since 5 am).
the 'heart' is still situated on its tree.
We were interested in exposing this method which we admire, and create 3D graffiti that will cause people to stop for a few seconds and look.
