I was born and raised in South Africa and I now live in New Orleans, LA with two dogs and two cats. I have loved photography my whole life and had a camera in my hands since I was 4 years old!I feel privileged and excited to be able to make a living doing what I love most: taking photos!

Photography is not simply a career for me, it is not merely a means of collecting a paycheck but rather it is an unrelenting passion.I feel it is my calling in life to be a natural explorer,adventurer and inspirer through my photographic art. I am grateful to have had bestowed upon me the gift of viewing the world a certain way through my camera lens.

My photographic areas of concentration are varied and include but are not limited to : weddings, portraits (people and pets), landscape and environmental work, wildlife photography and some commerical work. I also shoot special events such as anniversaries, birthday parties, work functions etc. as well as sporting events.

I am one of the official photographers of New Orleans own incredible flat track roller derby team, The Big Easy Roller Girls.

When it comes to roller derby photography, these photographs are available for free download to all BERG roller girls and their friends and family. Please contact me and ask my permission before using them for publication or mass distribution (this is the honor system folks. )

A little note about my photographs.They are not free for your taking! If you would like to post one of my photos on your Facebook/ MySpace page or website, please contact me first! I will more than likely be happy to allow it, I just like to be asked first ! All I will ask for usually is for name credit where the image is used. If you would like to use one of my photos to create wallpaper, graphics, on Facebook or for MySpace layouts, please contact me before doing so! Taking my photos and posting them all over the internet without my permission is theft! My photos are protected by copyright law, and I take it very seriously! Thank you!

Through my photographic art, I aim to encourage people to see beyond the ingrained, constrictive limitations forced upon us by the mainstream of race, gender,borders,languages,countries, religions, continents, cultures -and even species and to see that we all share a commonality of conciousness and spirit. We are all one. We are all united and we are all beautiful in every single way.

May you recognize the true freedom and power of your individual beauty and diversity and find joy in the amazing world around you. I hope you will find photography, just as I have, an amazing medium to capture the nuances of all life's experiences.
