I picked up photography as a hobby a few years ago after I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. My passion at the time was kung fu but it's so punishing on the joints so I was forced to leave it behind and focus on my health and more joint friendly activities!

Flickr has allowed me a space to share my photos with family and friends. My husband and I just got a pure bred miniature poodle who is the apple of my eye. After a period of inactivity I have gotten back into pulling my camera out to capture our little Jasper. This has allowed me to connect with a whole new group of folks on Flickr which I am thoroughly enjoying!
