Grandma told me that if I don't marry soon, all the years will pass me by at the speed of light, all my youthfulness will transform into age lines, and I will be a 31-year-old woman who sings songs about seeking relationships that are long-term with tax benefits, but I said to Grandma, "Grandma, I am the product of a new generation; I mean, a new generation where I can find a husband in my thirties, a generation in which my personal happiness does not always lie in submissive dependence on some high-paying white, Anglo-Saxon, protestant male although a rich husband may make life easier because the economy today makes me want to puke out my guts into a wishing well, hoping that the sacrifice of my innards will grant me financial aid but I digress, Grandma."
