Tacoma Atheists' photostream

Tacoma Atheists was founded in June 2008, and now has more than 150 members. We work to combat prejudice against atheists, agnostics and freethinkers by educating the public about atheism, and by working to make a positive difference in our community.

We are a group of individuals dedicated to building a strong atheist community in the Puget Sound. We strive to promote understanding and respect toward all atheists, agnostics, freethinkers and non-theists by providing information, working within our communities, opposing discrimination and promoting the separation of church and state. Above all, we advocate reason and freethought. We provide several forums in which Atheists and freethinkers can gather to share ideas and opinions, and network with like-minded individuals.
