I love photography!

Years ago I thought being a good photographer means being good at photoshop, being creative when it comes to photoshoots, having expensive equipment etc.

Over the time I realised that just because people have 1000$ cameras it doesn't make them good photographers.

I have an expensive analog Nikon with which I havn't worked in ages.

I recently bought a handy little digital camera with which I'm currently experimenting because it's so full of differenet functions.

I have a cell phone with a camera, and to be honest, that's what I like to use most! (Though of course a proper digital camera with a proper zoom is oftentimes much more useful)

I HATE flashlights. I don't understand why people use them...
I like natural light and it's amazing colours. Sometimes the light that comes in through my window is warm and orange (in the morning), sometimes it is cold and blue (at dusk) and why should I make everything white with a flash?

I like black and white photography, mainly for self portraits of myself, because I look better without colour.
I love bright colours and high contrasts.
I love taking pictures of normal, "boring" things. Food, flowers, my cats, the wires & cables at a trainstation.



I want to be able to capture the simple beauty of things and I don't want to have to use special equipment and effects just for someone to say "Wow, that is a good picture!"


I just enjoy it!
