Davida Inundenti says:
"True testimonials are in the work or the final product and in photography it’s easy - the products are instantly visible. However I have been on several shoots with Synecdoche and feel I can add a little to the existing brilliant testimony in her photostream.
Looking at her images after a shoot always has me re-thinking. Sometimes about the object, sometimes about the way it is seen. “Oh I didn’t see that” is a frequent thought. - same scene but another angle, another way of seeing, another comment.
Synecdoche offers quiet visual debate. That is debate in its fullest sense, not just to dispute but also to discuss and to consider. Her photographs communicate. Some challenge the way we see, some show other viewpoints and points of view.
Someone once said we only use 10% of our minds capacity. Well it is also possible that we only observe up to 10% of what is around us. If this is so, then Synecdoche brings in the other 90%, showing us there is more to see and things to consider.
And her work is also active. She can change or add a mood, she finds visual humour. She can make a tea pot look exciting and a rubber ball sexy.
But most of all, her shots teach ways to see and invoke new ideas."30th July, 2007

"I had not known Syn* (we are now tight, so I call her Syn) for a long time before I knitted her a hat. It's not that she needed a hat out there in La Jaw-la, CA. It's that my desire to ply her with gifts was strong.
Syn's a good egg, a smart cookie, a hot tamale, and a real peach. She is as credible as she is edible. I learn oodles here, and enjoy her most when she has all or part of her face showing. I like her so much that I even tolerate her feet.
I'm picky about my contacts, so you can trust me when I say she is worthy. And, although I'm straight as they come, the fact that she looks like Velma really turns me on.
*I do not call her Syn because I'm always adding an extra h to her name."14th March, 2007

"To paraphrase Winston Churchill, synecdoche "is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key"....
You too can find the key, just wander through her shots and enjoy!"12th October, 2006
