I am an amatuer photographer from Scotland,
I don't specialise in anything in particular - Have a look at my pics - see what you think.
I'd love to share opinions.
How I Started
I had a box brownie at the age of 12 but just snapshots , then worked my way through to a 126 one of these wee narrow things , next was Boots equivalent to the kodak instamatic , first good camera after that was a Minolta point and shoot , by which time I was getting intrested in taking photos of sunsets 1993 when my dad passed away I got his old Zorki, my first slr , 2005 my first digital slr a Canon 350D, which my late hubby bought me, his first comment when he seen the photo's from that was what happened , they were terrible, but i only really took snapshots,
I use The Canon and Carry a Fuji finepix S2000HD about, Just incase I see something ,

I medically retired in 2007, after beiing off work from 2004, with Fibromyalgia/CFS, my photograhpy and my other hobby genealogy help fill my time ,

I have been a member of my local photography club since 2008
I am hoping to do better with each passing season, my best result so far was coming in 2nd in 2010 portrait competition, at the end of the day its not the winning its the taking part that counts, I enter all the club competitions, and also the Scotish Photographic Federation open to camera club members (for individual entries) 2010/11 received 2nd place medal for intermediate section, in the camera club,

Update June this year I upgraded to a Canon 550D
which I love,I still use my 350D more for Close up and macro shots using my 18-55 lens with extension rings
Lenses I use are
Canon 18-55mm IS
Canon 55-250mm
Sigma 70-200mm although as much since buying the Canon 250mm
Sigma 170-500mm
Thinking of getting a Tele-converter, and would love 800mm
