I'm a board certified pathologist, cytopathology fellow, and assistant state medical examiner at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.
I grew up in the mountains of southwest Virginia near the West Virginia border. The picture below was taken on East River Mountain and is looking in the general direction of my house (somewhere on the horizon).
I have two amazing little girls.
When I'm not at the hospital, I'm working towards earning a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I take pictures every chance I get (which isn't often enough).
