I'm married and Mom of a 31 year old son. Hubby's retired now, and we have the pleasure of being snow birds -- living on Long Island in summer and Hilton Head Island in winter.

I love digital photography and have finally upgraded to a DSLR camera - a Canon Xsi Rebel. I also have a mini camera (Canon PowerShot SD960 IS) which I use for times when it's not convenient to carry heavy camera gear. I also use it to take vista shots, when it's more difficult to change my zoom lens.

My favorite subjects are nature, landscapes - and I enjoy taking macros, too .

I also have two black cats, Phantom and Shadow.

Edit: Phantom left us - 11/30/06. I miss him very much

Edit: Shadow left us - 12/1/10 I miss her so much. It's sad -- the end of an era. The Dynamic Duo is gone and a piece of my heart remains with both kitties forever...

Edit: After a cat-less month, we now have another dynamic duo -- two tuxedo litter mate kitties gotten form the Hilton Head Humane Association -- Misty and Felix! They are scampering into my heart and I'm loving them to pieces! :)

Besides photography, I am a flutist, and play in church. As I've discovered the internet, writing has also become a passion, as well.
