I've ALWAYS had a passion for photography, but even more so since late July, 2009. I got reconnected with a longtime childhood friend and he has given me his photography bug!!!!!! I'm not a professional by any means. I just love to experience the world around me through my camera lens!!! I use my cell phone camera, a Kodak EasyShare M853 Zoom, a Canon Powershot SD700 IS, and most recently, a Canon PowerShot SX20 IS. I don't have a DSLR yet, but hopefully one day I will. I also use film cameras, but I'm not as versed in them as I am digital!! As far as film cameras go, I've have 3. I welcome ya'll to check out my photos!!! Any feedback you can give me is welcomed & appreciated!!!

The childhood friend I spoke of is also on flickr. Unlike me, he actually studied photography in college and has a degree in the photojournalism field. I even have two photos posted on my photostream that he shot with MY camera!!! I recently became admin of the Flickr group, "San Angelo, TX: My Hometown". In addition to being a self-taught photographer, I am also a self taught graphic designer and I enjoy making handmade jewelry and accessories. As of right now (Wednesday, January 10th), I expect everything to up and running on my etsy site, with items posted, some time during the month of February of this year!!2012!!! Right now, I'm in the process of setting up all the policies and storefront stuff Until my site on www.etsy.com is fully functional, I am continuing with ebay. In addition to the etsy.com site, you can also find my handmade creations on my website and blog. My website is www.handmadebyheidisue.com. My blog is entitled, "Beadful Things". I have posted the first blog post. However, I don't yet have feedburner set up yet. Therefore, I'm not currently able to provide you with the option of subscribing to my blog! However, no worries! I will have feedburner set up ON or BEFORE this Saturday January 14th, 2012! The website itself, has be published on a test basis to see if anything needs to be added, in terms of item description.
