Cooking is my favorite pasttime. The best day for me is to cook for a huge family feast with family pitching in and sampling the goodies. I especially like ethnic cooking and try to make the dish as authentic as possible. The best compliments I get are when friends say the dish is as good or better than what they get at a restaurant. I also enjoy photography but got away from it when the kids came along. I've recently discovered the joys of combining the two hobbies and seeing what kind of artistry I can turn out. Food blogs and Flickr are huge sources of inspiration. We'll see how this goes....
