Hi my name is Ian Sutherland and I was born on Oahu. I lived there my whole life in the same small three bedroom one bathroom house which I call home. I have one older sister.

Currently I'm in San Fran attending college at the Academy Of Art University majoring in photography. I am about to start my second semester which I am looking forward to.

I love shooting waves (as you may be able to tell from my photo stream), landscapes, sports, just about anything I can. I take my camera with almost every where, but on the odd day I'll leave it at home. My dad is probably one of the reasons I started photography. I started off using his canon XTI and then got my own camera (canon 50D) the Christmas of 2008. All the lens I use are my dads, I just "barrow" them for long periods of time. I want to save up for an underwater housing for my 50D and hopefully will get one in the next year or two.

Other then photography I like to bodyboard, surf, skate, hike, run, lounge about on the beach, and play soccer.
