About My Photography

In the past, photography was limited to those who had all the film, chemicals equipment and know-how needed in order to develop their own film. The invention of digital photography has enabled many hobbyist photographers, such as myself, to expand and truly express themselves through photos.

I am a Colorado native and I am committed to documenting and digitally preserving aspects of my home state which are endangered and interesting whether they are truly historical or not. I grew up in the mountains, and still find myself fascinated at all the interesting things to be seen in the city and urban setting. As I venture out and see more interesting things to photograph, I learn so much about the rich history that Colorado has to offer. Future generations may not be able to witness some of the great things Colorado has to offer, and I’m hoping that my photography will enable them to at least see what I was able to see.

Other photographic interests of mine include vintage cars, custom license plates, abandonments, industrial settings, graffiti, Googie architecture & signage as well as graveyards and macro photography.

In my travels, I am also interested in documenting and preserving aspects of the local areas I am visiting. There is so much out there to be seen and learned about, I can only make a tiny dent in the multitude of things that are fading fast.
