I love taking pictures of buildings of any kind old or new and also landscapes, but my favourites are probably abstracts of small areas of buildings. I really like trying different techniques and unusual subjects. I must admit I get a bit bored of just doing the same type of picture or the same scene over and over again.
I do not particularly enjoy taking portraits or even pics of people in general. I wish I had more confidence that I could do them justice.
I am also a keen member of Consett and District Photographic Society which meets each Monday night from September to April in Citizen's House near the Doctor's Surgery in Station Yard.

"He has a real eye for pattern and texture, and seems to find angles and perspectives on things that you just wouldn't see even if you were stood beside him. And he's even a nice bloke."

"I fist met Chris at Consett Photographic Society and he has become a good friend. His work is very good. His preference I would say is photographing different textures and taking unusual angles of things we wouldn't sometimes notice or think of. However he has produced some very good and different landscapes of places we wouldn't normally think as photogenic, turning them into something really beautiful.
