Sunwolf Outdoor Centre is a year-round resort beautifully located only one hour from Vancouver and Whistler, in Squamish "the outdoor recreation Capital of Canada", Sunwolf is the perfect place to get away for relaxation or adventure.

Nestled at the confluence of the Cheakamus and Cheekye Rivers, you can be lulled to sleep by the relaxing sound of water flowing by from any of the 10 riverside cabins. The cozy cabins feature handcrafted furniture including a double bed and single day-bed (sleeping up to 3 people), with gas fireplaces, vaulted ceilings, ensuite washrooms with showers and fir floors. Some of our cabins have kitchenettes. We are family and pet friendly. We only charge an additional $10 pet fee per stay. Situated on ~5 acres of greenspace, there's plenty of room for your children and pets to roam and explore. On site, we also have a hot tub, group fire pit, volleyball net, horseshoe pits, large grass areas for lawn games, and a conference room with a large deck and a BBQ. It is a beautiful setting for weddings, reunions, retreats or an individual getaway.


Sunwolf offers rafting excursions of all levels. Fun for the whole family, the Family Cheakamus Float with a few bumpy waves is suitable for children as young as 4 yrs. For a more exciting, adrenaline-pumping ride there is the exciting class III and IV Elaho Whitewater Experience, featuring some of the best whitewater BC has to offer. The minimum age for this trip is 13yrs, but experience is not necessary as highly trained guides teach paddling skills and river safety before conquering the waves. The river offers stunning scenery views otherwise likely unseen, a chance for cliff jumping or swimming a wave. From beginning to end, Sunwolf does the day up right with the best service, best price, best food, and best location. All the trips finish with a return to the resort to an awaiting gourmet lunch below beautiful views of the Tantalus mountains. In the winter, Sunwolf offers amazing bald eagle viewing floats as hundreds of eagles congregate on our riverbanks.


Squamish is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream. Nearby you will also find miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking for all levels, plus horseback riding, rock climbing, windsurfing, kayaking, and beautiful lakes for swimming.
