One of my favorite things is doing long exposure work - with moving water and low light or night photography. I especially like to photograph bridges, seascapes, historic places, waterfalls, and forests.

Iggie and I often go out taking pictures together and sometimes we go with a group of friends to find and explore new places. I grew up in Oregon, so New York is all new to me. We often travel to rural Pennsylvania and New Jersey on weekends. We have visited coastal Maine four times now on vacation and I have really enjoyed the sights and adventures, such as watching the moon rise over the ocean. When I'm not doing photography, I like movies, gardening, science fiction, cooking, and piano (I have a bachelor of science degree in Music).

Most of my work is single exposure. I have recently added a few photographs taken in layers and then manually blended, and these are marked in the description or tags. I process the photos mostly with Aperture for iMac.
