A novice photographer who has recently bought a Canon S5 IS and is still trying some hands on it.

I keep hearing that traditional photography has changed…digital is killing it…photography is on its way to hell in a hand basket. To those who feel this is the end of traditional photography, my question is: What is photography? For that matter, what is traditional photography?

My simple gesture for photography is as follows:
A good photography is the one where in one gets what he perceive. It may appeal to others but its still a good photograph as one has got what he wants.
