I have always loved photography... my first camera was a Zenit (russian) all manual 35mm. It forced me to learn. My friends on the HS yearbook staff all carried Olympus, Nikon, etc and made fun of my relic... until we went backpacking and had below freezing temps and their batteries were all dead... and I was able to keep shooting!
I'm marrried to a wonderfully talented wedding and portrait photographer
she usually lets me borrow her equipment:
