I'm new to this photography lark... got a camera in June and now I'm snapping at anything and everything (much to my family's annoyance!) Most of it is rubbish, but sometimes I manage to capture something I like. Most importantly of all, I love how my new hobby takes me to places that I probably wouldn't bother going to if I didn't have a camera and makes me appreciate scenes, people and objects in a whole new way.

My biggest delight is travel, I'm not a great explorer, a bit of a scaredy-cat really (especially after getting lost in Seoul in freezing cold weather) - but my greatest ambition is to see with my own eyes all the things that have whet my appetite for travel over the years.

My current top ten list of things to see and do are: (in no particular order)

3). Taj Mahal
4). Ponte di Rialto (Venice)
5). Take the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway (Cape Town)
6). Northern Lights
7). The Kremlin & Red Square (Moscow)
8). Angel Falls (Venezuela)
9). The Maldives
10). Hong Kong Harbour at night
