Well, there is really not a whole lot to tell about myself. I definitely fall under the "haven't much of a clue what I'm doing" category. I know that I should probably take a course to learn more about photography, but I have spent all of my money on camera equipment (that I have no idea how to use). However, what I lack in skill, I make up for in enthusiasm!
In the short couple of months that I have been a member of flickr, I have learned so much. To this I owe a huge thanks to my wonderful, talented, friendly and supportive Flickr friends. Your photos, comments, support and constructive criticism are so very appreciated. Thank you.
My preferred style of photography is nature. My favourite subject falls under chipmunk, although I'm finding that wild flowers make willing and great practice subjects. I spend most of my time shooting sports (but those I tend to turn into movies).
My next goals are to learn more technical stuff so that I can actually have merit to my comments and to start experimenting with portraits and landscapes.
My lifetime photography goals would be to shoot a great picture of 1.osprey 2. moose 3. owl.
So, here's to the wonderful road of photography and the challenging journey that lies before us!

    Dave Angood says:

"I now need to write about one of my best mates that I know on Flickr. To me Sue is outstanding with the photo's that she takes. The quality is always sooooo good. Never afraid to ask questions about doing things and improving. She has the best sense of humour (just like mine) and she has me in stiches so many times. I love to see and read her comments when she drops by my stream and is genuine and fun loving all the time. You could truely never meet a nicer person on here and I would love to one day meet up with Sue and her family for a few cool long beers some photo shoots and chatting like real mates do.
Cheers Sue mate for just being You"

    Rowena R says:

"Sue is just the most amazing outdoor photography contact I have. She has the enthusiasm for nature photography that keeps it alive, and the knack for capturing the perfect moment that keeps her contacts entertained. She is one of the few people who can show nature in its most natural, unedited form, and still impact me. Her colours are real, and the animals in her pictures are even more real. I highly recommend you check her out! :)"

"This is the first testimonial I have written on Flickr and it's about my new Flickr friend, Sue.
She takes wonderful photos and I really look forward to viewing her work.
But most of all she just makes my days happier! She is a master of words.....she never leaves a generic comment and doesn't post a ton of invites (not that I don't enjoy those sometimes)! She leaves real words...well... the kind of words that just make you feel better about yourself and the world.
She loves her family and camping. I'm not much for camping but I am an outdoors kinda person. Now thanks to Sue I get to enjoy camping right here at home with her heartfelt stories and photos.
Her favorite and most likely famous shots are of adorable chipmunks!
I don't know if she has more time for new friends.....but if you get a chance to have this lady as one.....you'll be a happy camper!"
