I have the basic gear - DSLR plus a few fixed aperture lenses and primes.

I enjoy shooting macro. Fun.

Most shots are done using the 90mm f2.8 tammy. The best thing about doing macro shots is that its challenging as all shots are manual focus. I just love it!

I don't shoot food because by the time i get around doing it, I would have polished up the plate. Its hard to shoot when you are cooking for a party. Hard to balance being a photog and a chef (based on my experience).

I do not photoshop my photos. What you see is really what you get, colour-wise, composition wise. The very most i'd do is to crop out some nosy leaves or insects or to sharpen the photo when i covert to jpeg.
Why?
Firstly, I always believe that good skills means not using much of the softwares (only use it to improve and already perfect photo) but not to tweak until it hides the true skill of the photographer.
That being said, i do not know how to use photoshop either. LOL.....
