My name is Katie and I set up stripykat to provide the world with totally unique, funky handmade bags and accessories. I love working with different textures, fabrics and colours. I love the way a bag or accessory can not only compliment an outfit it can complete it.

I design each product, make a paper pattern, cut the fabric pieces out, sew them all together then hey presto a stripykat bag, scarf or accessory is created.
Made with lots of love and care in Edinburgh, Scotland I get my inspiration from all over including the great selection fabrics I source from round the world.
The designers I love are Anna Maria Horner, Amy Butler, Alexander Henry and Robert Kaufman to name a few.
