I borrowed my father's camera in my junior year of high school to take "reference pictures" for my paintings. That was in 1963 and have I never looked back.
I hardly remember a time since then when I haven't done street photography.
This planet can be a very funny place.

I rarely come home from a shoot and upload to FLickr. I am typically editing images that are a month to a year (or more) old. So images posted here may be new, old or in between. As WInogrand said, " You make better choices if you approach your contact sheets cold, separating the editing from the picture taking as much as possible.”

I cannot accept invitations from groups that have "requirements" for giving awards. My time is better spent visiting my chosencontacts or working with my images. Any group invitations that have large flashy icons may be deleted without explanation.
