The Center for Watershed Protection is a non-profit based in Ellicott City, MD that provides applied research, guidance, and direct assistance to those that work for the health of our watersheds, local streams, etc. We facilitate counties to change development codes to have a lesser impact on their natural resources, we provide yearly professional training programs for nonprofit groups and local government on stormwater program development or watershed plan creation. We strive to provide the most up-to-date, accessible, and effective guidance materials and data for the watershed and stormwater professional to protect and restore streams, lakes, rivers, wetlands, and bays nationwide and around the world.
